Duolingo works on two levels. It is a free application that helps you learn various languages and at the same time, uses crowd sourcing (using translations done by the learners) to translate the web and provide translation services on the web to recover its costs.

It is free, easy to download, can be installed on both Android and iOS via the google play store or the iTunes or can also be accessed directly via their website for desktops. The player can choose from various combinations of first and second languages. It uses all the four - reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for teaching languages. It currently supports learning Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, English
